Historical Light Restoration

Morgan Electric was honored to work with a local family to restore a piece of history in Carlinville. The project began when our customer asked if the light stanchions found on a local property could be restored to their original purpose. The lights were being used as a bridge for off-road vehicles and the owners felt compelled to try and bring the lights back to their original purpose.
The team at Morgan Electric began the restoration process by cleaning up the years of neglect and rough treatment. After restoring the stanchions and bringing the wiring up to modern standards, Morgan Electric partnered with Lens Masters, Inc in St. Louis to restore the glass light housing. The team at Morgan collected all the broken glass from the light's past as an off road vehicle bridge to Lens Masters. Lens Masters reformed the globes using the pieces to keep the lights as historically correct as possible.
At the end of the project, Morgan was able to resurrect a piece of local history and satisfy a "Mother Road" community residential customer.

Morgan Electric was brought in to a home in the Lake Catatoga area to upgrade the electrical fixtures in the bathroom. Morgan consulted with the owner on both the design and location of the lighting in the bathroom. Morgan also upgraded the wiring in the room to NEC damp location standards. The unique style of the mirror fixture and the joy of working with the homeowner make this a memorable project.
Decorative Pond Foutain
Fountains For Ponds & Lakes
Morgan Electric was consulted to design a 16 ft aeration fountain for a local homeowner. This fountain provides the home owner with a decorative way to circulate the pond water providing an oxygen rich environment for aquatic life and a lovely cascading sound which helps to mask unwanted background noises. The pump creates a fine mist which provides a unique and subtle sound similar to the gentle crescendo of ocean waves.
